It's a good ping pong paddle for intermediate players. I used the Stiga Evolution for 8 years prior to buying this paddle. This paddle provides more speed and good control. I only played with it for a few hours, but the Evolution has more spin and more "feel" when hitting the ball. It all depends on your style of play and skill level, and preference. This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. It’s a bit cramped need for more space at ping-pong tables 1. My 219.00 one has a fiberglass narrow end toward the tip. I would have a better result if I just fatten the tip a bit. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. I like to start a review with the packaging. So, it came in a box, very well cared for inside, fragile label on all sides, and it arrived via FedEx in perfect condition. Good job, Fedex!! Upon assembly I noticed it was very straight forward (mechanical mind not necessary), the instructions were clear and written in my language. Looking at this beautiful piece fully assembled made me feel almost awe struck, with its glowing copper eagle, and brass cardinal directions. Solid piece! I've capped the cupola I'm building with it and it made it even more pretty! The only downside that I could find us that it does not come with the mount. Not really a downside though and if I had read the description better I would've known that before the purchase. You will love this piece.
