Love this rug. It looks little different from the listing picture, but it’s still beautiful. I got a thick rug pad and that made a huge difference. I especially like the detail. Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing. I have been using it for a year or so and no problems, the cushion is like new. I curl up and sleep in it all the time. It’s darling for a corner. I have a small living area, so it’s ideal. Purchased this as an open box and couldn’t be happier. Insanely easy ‘assembly’, just screw in the feet and slot the back into the metal track. I bought this as a comfy chair for kitchen visitors and I think it’s going to be perfect. It sits firm but still cozy, and wide enough to curl up in, at least according to my dog in the photo (she is a 20-lb Scottish terrier for reference). My chair arrived intact and on day expected. The FedEx driver was putting it on the carport which was great due to expect. I asked if he could take to my feet family room door just about 15-20 ft from where he was leaving it and he did, earning him a tip. The chair had no damage and I noted that the dust cover at bottom of the chair was actually cloth instead of the paper like stuff that’s often used. I’m 79 yo and moved the box into the house, removed and inspected everything by myself. I attempted to attach the wings to the back but was unable to get the brackets to slide into each other so had to wait for help. Once that was done the rest was easy. I love the color and like many have said in reviews the seat is hard. I expect it will soften up with uses. The fabric is nice and I expect to get many years of use from this chair. Absolutely love this chair! I got as a reading chair, and it is a classic and timeless look. I am 5’2, and it has a deep enough seat to rest my legs on it. It was also extremely easy to assemble. The only downside was the bottom corners had small smudges on them, I am assuming from shipping. I was able to remove with stain remover so wasn’t a big deal and also again on the bottom so unnoticeable. The chair is on the firmer side but think it will soften over time so I don’t mind it! I would buy this rug again in a heartbeat. it was very inexpensive and I was very impressed with the quality when it arrived. to be honest I bought it specifically because it was cheap, flat and dark and I felt it would hide dirt well at the entrance to our home.
