This is a beautiful ceiling fan for my living room! I decided to change out the fan from a white one to black. It is very attractive and has great fan speeds. The LED light is integrated and gives off a warm glow. If you are looking for something brighter, you might want a different light that gives off more than 3000k, but for us I'm sure it will work. It takes about an hour to install, but make sure that you buy your downrod ahead of time. We needed a 36 inch rod, with a matt black finish. Overall, I am happy with this product.. Linda. Ordered this fan in Brushed Nickel with Seashore Gray blades. We renovated our family room with a rustic/barnwood theme, and this fan actually fits the decor perfectly! Was a little disappointed that it didn't come with a remote (apparently a small oversight on my part). With 15' cathedral ceilings, a pull chain was not an option. A quick call to a very helpful Wayfair sales rep pointed me in the right direction on which remote was compatible with this specific fan model. The remote was easy to install and it worked like a charm. Fan assembly was easy. We also added a longer (24") down rod (purchased from our local box store) with no issues. I ordered 7 of the Wynd 5 - Blade Outdoor /Indoor Smart Ceiling Fan for a new home. Although we haven't installed them yet, we have the same existing fans in the current home, and we haven't had any issues with them.
