Very nice hood for the price. Gives off a good amount of light but is a little loud at highest fan setting. I had a ge microwave already. This was basically the newest version. Be careful. The mount bracket is a little different and the top screws are in a different spot. It came with nice paper templates that showed you exactly where to mount and drill. Me and a friend installed it in 45 minutes. Works great. No fluff solid ge appliance. I’m happy. James. Our contractor vented it outside the house. He had to put some trim at the top to cover the holes, but it looks great!
