First opening the box, it looked to be a major undertaking. However it was a simple job. Just a few notes : some of the pieces are heavy, especially the umbrella holder and might need a second person. The raising and lowering handle was a bit tedious to line up the hole. I would recommend bolting down the legs, I ended up putting lag bolts through the deck floor joists. That thing isn't moving! Overall a very large and solid umbrella, very happy with purchase.. This is a new pic but I’ve had the umbrella over a year. This umbrella has treated me extremely well. I think its treated me better than I’ve treated IT. My recommendations overtime.. keep it in the lowered closed position when not using. I kept it in the horizontal position and open for days at a time. And it’s STILL good. This offset umbrella is just what I was needing for my patio. It came packaged nicely and I was able to assemble by myself without issue. I like that it can completely close up without the arm sticking out. It does not come with a weighted stand so I did get one that fit perfectly around the base for extra weight.
