She has worked on various interior projects and licensing deals with reputable companies. She has also appeared as a lifestyle and design expert on HGTV, E!, Oxygen, and Own Network, and starred in her makeover show called “Unboxed with Nikki Chu” on Aspire. Currently, she documents her home renovation on “Nikki Chu’s Renovation Diary” and was chosen to decorate the garage in Architectural Digest’s The Iconic Home Showcase. Chu has received several awards for her outstanding accomplishments in the world of art and design.

We’re happy with this purchase. Raised in Los Angeles, California, D’Alessandro was the youngest of three brothers. When art competition was a form of play for the brothers, it later grew into his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended Illustration, Sculpting, and Fine Art workshops in Fullerton Ca. After spending long periods studying different techniques, D’Alessandro's art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During D’Alessandro’s studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces. He also painted family, friends, and gardens. He has done commissioned work for a variety of clients in music, publishing, and editorial. His work has been exhibited in numerous private and public collections.

Beautiful artwork! I am pleased with the art itself however, I am disappointed that one of the frames has a small dent in it. It’s too much trouble to box it up and return it. I was able to use a gold paint pen to disguise it and hopefully no one else will notice. It is disappointing to spend so much money on something for it not to be perfect on delivery. Artist Mari Urasawa was born in Tokyo, Japan, where various cultures continually crossed paths. She was born into a creative family that appreciated art, music, and philosophy. She enjoys movies, yoga, travel, reading, and scuba diving. She studied Fine Arts in college. She was especially interested in Printmaking and liked silkscreen and etching because of the way they combined hand painting and digital looks. “Art is a part of my life and cannot live without it. There is no right or wrong about art. It has the freedom to express whatever you feel. I paint what I see, not what it is supposed to look like.” She works in mixed media and combines both digital and hand-painted works to create her unexpected looks.

Summers Greenery 1 is reminiscent of American Abstract Expressionist painter Helen Frankenthaler who was known for her major contributions to the history of postwar American painting. She developed her distinctive and innovative "soak-stain" technique in the early 1950s by pouring thinned oil paint directly onto a raw, unprimed canvas laid on the ground, allowing the colors to soak into the fabric. Summers Greenery 1, a large-scale, non-representational work on canvas, carries on that method by applying thinned layers of color to achieve both translucency and saturation.
