We decided to refloor our rental trailer, and this flooring was great for the job. Since it is water repellent, we could use it throughout the trailer, including the bathrooms. The function of the Escargot 49 oz. Wine Decanter is based on the fact of a double aeration effect. The first aeration takes place when the wine is poured out of the bottle into the escargot decanter exposing the content of the bottle to oxygen. Lift the decanter from horizontal to a vertical position to fill the decanter. The second contact with oxygen is triggered when the wine is poured out of the Escargot decanter into the glass. When pouring hold the decanter by the oval indent for conveyance. The decanter construction forces fresh air through the already decanted wine a second time to fill the air space in the decanter. This second aeration process creates a bubbling gurgle when the air is forced through the neck of the escargot decanter.

Good quality and easy to work with. Can be cut with a utility knife. Compared with the photo, it's more brown/tan with less red oak overtones than in the photos. It doesn't look bad, just not what I envisioned based on the photos. I had wanted something a little bit more on the warm side. Not 100% thrilled, but I was able to install it myself and it is nice-looking flooring, reasonably realistic and not too plastic-y. Edited to say: the photos are of the Orchard Orange color (as you can see, it's not very orange). I liked the quality and ease of working with the product, so I re-purchased the other color - Blossom Light Beige - for a different room.
