Using this in my dusty lilac basement bedroom. The room has gray tiles and I'm using orange as an accent color so the coloring is perfect, and I like the subtlety of the design - the way the colors blend together. It warms up the room both literally and visually. I chose this after looking at about 1000 rugs and I'm pretty happy with my choice. An aside: thanks also for Wayfair's advice on how to place rugs - very helpful. Ok - this is several years down the road and wanted to update folks on this rug. Initially, we loved it. I still love the color and it is very comfortable underfoot. However, this rug sheds horribly and has stretched and shrunk in size since it is not bound. Constantly had to adjust it and the shed was constant and just a mess. We finally could not take it anymore and sent to landfill. I did not want anyone else to have to deal with what we had so didn't even consider donation! We love our new rug ! The color is perfect for our room and décor - and the quality is top notch. I wanted something that would be soft and cushioned somewhat underfoot, but not a high pile that would be hard to maintain. I liked the picture more than the actual rug. The distressed look just isn’t what I was going for. I think it was more my own fault for not checking the pics closer before buying.. Sarah. Tue May 28 2024
