The compact feature of this unit is great and it did not produce any notable scent and some brands do. I bought this because as an insurance policy for my new building space after being exposed to mold previously. Well it turned out to be a great idea because just a few weeks later mold in the new space was revealed. LOVE IT! I have dust, a family with a bed of hair and pets. This also comes with THREE extra black filters. Super light, easy to clean.
