I purchased this the first one had broken bricks they sent out a replacement one and that one was terrible It had broken bricks and the seal around the door was off . Very happy with my propane stove. Heats the main floor of my home (approximately 1,200 sq ft) quickly and efficiently. I do keep my bedroom doors closedmostly closed during the day to conserve heat. I have a wall mounted heater in the basement and am so much happier with this stove. The interior hood is angled in such a way to convect heat forward when coming out. The wall mounted one goes straight to the ceiling. I did not purchase the optional blower. With the help of a ceiling fan on reverse, it spreads the heat even quicker. First, I have an arched fireplace opening, and I was told that these doors would not fit on it. After taking extensive measurements and figuring out all the angles and opening sizes, I was confident this would fit. The package came in great shape, and all the parts, nuts, bolts, and accessories were in the box. The doors fit into the opening, and the arch was covered, which was a great relief. Using the brackets provided, and because of the arch, I decided to drill holes with my rotary hammer and screw the door brackets into the masonry brick. Everything fit perfect and the doors were secured in place. I added the screens, and the job was done. For a square fireplace, I would highly recommend these doors. We've used our gas log set for the 2nd time tonight, and we love it! It was harder to install than I thought it would be, because (since I've never owned a set before) I wasn't aware it had it's own grate/pan with it's own gas pipe that connects to the natural gas outlet in our fireplace. A little frustrating since the gas pipe comes fixed on the right and our fireplace gas hookups come in from the left side, but we switched it around and once it's all set up it looks great and very worth it! When the fire is lit it looks very natural and beautiful. The concrete logs are very solid and durable, and will last a very long time. The way the logs are arranged are very nice. The glowing embers/vermiculite look very natural when lit. Came with the perfect amount of everything. I bought a gas log set because we burned real wood in the fireplace all last winter and the ash/smoke gave me allergies. Gas logs may emit some chemicals, but it's worth it not to have to clean up ash and stuff up my nose! (Also to note, the set smelled slightly the first night we lit it, but no smell the 2nd night). We love the look and its heat. Installation was easy. We do find we have a burned off propane smell, but we solved this by having an air purifier next to it, makes us feel its safer that way. The propane industry may tell us all its safe to breathe those off gases, but like now known re natural gas, its better to not have those, so I would always suggest a good gas removing air purifier in the room, just my opinion..
