This beautiful and realistic-looking expandable hedge completely changed the view from my kitchen window! I am so happy that I am buying a second one for my upstairs balcony. For a larger area, this is so much easier than buying small squares separately and attaching them all. That being said, you do need something to attach the zip ties (which are included) around the bamboo backing to hold this up. If you aren't attaching to a railing with supports, and you're attaching to wood, you could use hand screw-in eyes or even open cup hooks to support this. This took me all of 5 minutes, and it felt secure with only 4 zip ties, but I ended up using a few more because they include 10. For my large area, I needed to expand it all the way out, so if you don't need to go this wide, it will look even fuller. This is heavy-duty and looks very realistic with the bamboo branches and different shades of green. There are both curled and flat leaves. These are really nice and elegant looking plant watering stakes. Love the bright colors. They hold a few ounces of water. The bigger ones hold more. Just use a stick to poke a hole in your dirt or soil, fill them with water, and place them straight down into the hole. The bigger ones lasts a couple days.
