This is a beautiful desk. Looks just as good as it does in the picture. The chairs in my photo are also from Wayfair. I recommend paying the money to assemble. It took the two-person crew three hours. But it looks perfect. However, long after the assembly crew left, I realized the light on the front of the desk does not work. This desk is very nice. I had to work with the manufacturer to get new legs and a motor (as the top rose at different speeds). I received them and the desk is awesome. This is a pretty decent, small form pc desk. I probably should have got the large sized one. The packaging was perfect, no damage, and everything was there. Its a sturdy design, my only negative comment is in regard to the lower rear right side shelf. It was implied it was a shelf for your pc case to sit on. I have an old style full tower case that does not comfortably sit on this shelf without hanging over the edge. I made it work, but it needs to be like 50% larger to accommodate the newer 2 compartment style cases. Other than that, I like it. Looks good, sturdy build, no defects. Overall I am very pleased (so far) with this desk. Admittedly, I am writing this review on the very first workday that I am using it, so I am still trying to get a feel for it compared to my old desk. As far as functionality goes, I give it 5-stars. It’s very easy to use and smoothly operates for height adjustment. It wasn’t overly difficult to put together even though it did take my husband and about 4 hours to do so. Ironically, the drawers were the most difficult part because the instructions (at least to us) weren’t too clear. We’re both quite adept at building furniture from a box, so to have stumped us is saying something. Speaking of the drawers, since this is a large desk, I’d rather have a second keyboard tray than the drawers. The main reason I’m giving it 4-stars is that the LED light strip all too easily broke while adding it to the desk. BTW, the installation of the light strip was also less the ideally shown in the instructions. But, the manufacturer is working on sending out a new kit to me even as I type this out, so at least the issue is getting corrected. Other than that, I will say that so far, I truly am enjoying the desk! I do LOVE the fact that you can have up to 4 presets saved. That’s far more helpful than I even originally thought it would be. This is my first standing desk, so it’s new territory for me. All in all, though, I would definitely recommend this desk. Just be sure to be super careful when sticking the LED strip to the desk because it snaps way too easily. I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right. Perfect size! We'd been searching for an L shaped desk with the option to sit/stand for a long while. This one had a couple extra options that we weren't expecting which tipped the scales it's way. The only issue we have with it is the two pieces of the desk are not attached to one another at all. So if your desk is on a smooth surface they'll slide apart easily. Just as advertised. I was not expecting anything heavy duty. Everything was labeled VERY well and instructions were easy to follow (my only complaint was that in 2 sections it makes a point to say particular holes are “facing out”, but the illustration has them facing in).
