Needed an attractive storage solution for a tiny bedroom with no decent closet space. I placed this high above a dresser. Did not trust the drywall anchors. Amount of clothes to be hung is heavy. So I drilled a two by four into the wall studs.Then attached the rod with longer sturdier screws. Ones supplied were awful and stripped before they became flush to the surface. I have 3 issues with the sconce. 1) Not all 4 lights were wired correctly, so 1 of the lights does not work. 2) The length of the mounting screws were too short. 3) The sconce should be able to be mounted over an existing rough-in, but instead the instructions call for the sconce to be mounted on a wall.. It looks nice and is a good size for the price, but there are several cons. 1. Directions are very minimal. None of the pieces are labeled and some of them look similar to each other so you really have to pay attention when assembling. There is one step where you have to screw in bolts, but a) you can't tell it's a bolt and not a screw from the pictures and b) there are no bolts in the hardware section. I figured out the bolts were already screwed in the ends of the pieces where they go and simply needed to be removed and re-screwed in from the outside of another piece. And there are 0 instructions at all about mounting it. It's relatively straightforward so most people will be ok, but if you don't know how to install drywall anchors for example you might want to look for something else with more direction. 2. The much bigger issue is the space between the top and bottom railings on the sides with 2 racks are too short for the average person to fit clothes on without hanging over the bottom rail. This was for a petite woman, none of her shirts fit on the top rail without covering the bottom rail. We ended up removing one of the bottom rails and the other we have to use for scarves, pants that are folded in half, etc. I suppose if it was for children that would also be ok. But seriously, like 6 more inches of space in between the top and bottom rails would make a huge difference. Overall, I wouldn't purchase again.
