The design is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for—very sturdy, industrial farmhouse style with clean lines that instantly elevates the space. The black iron piping feels heavy-duty and well-made, not flimsy at all, and once mounted properly, it feels very secure and strong. Assembly was straightforward and well worth the effort. All the metal components fit together nicely, and the mounting points lined up perfectly. I used solid wood boards, and the final result looks high-end and custom-built. One very important thing to note (and not a negative—just something buyers should be aware of) the wooden shelves are NOT included. You will need to purchase or cut your own boards separately. It looks nice and is a good size for the price, but there are several cons. 1. Directions are very minimal. None of the pieces are labeled and some of them look similar to each other so you really have to pay attention when assembling. There is one step where you have to screw in bolts, but a) you can't tell it's a bolt and not a screw from the pictures and b) there are no bolts in the hardware section. I figured out the bolts were already screwed in the ends of the pieces where they go and simply needed to be removed and re-screwed in from the outside of another piece. And there are 0 instructions at all about mounting it. It's relatively straightforward so most people will be ok, but if you don't know how to install drywall anchors for example you might want to look for something else with more direction. 2. The much bigger issue is the space between the top and bottom railings on the sides with 2 racks are too short for the average person to fit clothes on without hanging over the bottom rail. This was for a petite woman, none of her shirts fit on the top rail without covering the bottom rail. We ended up removing one of the bottom rails and the other we have to use for scarves, pants that are folded in half, etc. I suppose if it was for children that would also be ok. But seriously, like 6 more inches of space in between the top and bottom rails would make a huge difference. Overall, I wouldn't purchase again. These stools are very solid and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. The construction feels sturdy and well-balanced, and the adjustable height mechanism works smoothly. Once assembled, they have a nice weight to them and don’t feel flimsy at all. The industrial pipe design is great in theory, but the finish is not accurately represented in the photos. In person, the metal has a splattered white paint effect that looks more accidental than intentional—almost like they were sitting near someone rinsing paint brushes. It gives a messier appearance than expected and takes away from the otherwise clean industrial look. The color also leans more toward a colonial aqua blue tone, which was unexpected. Unfortunately, it clashes quite a bit with darker cabinetry—especially navy blue—so it didn’t work in our space at all. That said, the underlying build quality is good enough that they’re worth keeping. With a refinished or powder-coated surface, these could easily become a really sharp, high-end looking piece.
