I love this table. For our home to have a commercial-quality product like this at an affordable price made this a great buy for our family. There were no assembly instructions included but it was intuitive enough for us to figure it out and all the parts were there and undamaged. The table sits level, is sturdy enough for 8 people to sit (though it is a bit tight elbow to elbow for 2 adults to a seat), but it really does fit our needs and our space. the wood finish is gorgeous, almost feels too nice to be out in the weather. The instructions were a bit hard to follow and we had to remove the legs and redo twice. The screws were all in one bag, so I recommend sorting out the screws carefully because you don't want a slightly longer screw to poke thru to the top. Great value for the money. The legs are made of 100% northern white cedar logs, with a pine bench and tabletop. The wood is naturally resistant to rot and insect damage. The table can be finished with a quality penetrating oil, or left to weather to a silvery gray color. Many, or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty.
