Aside from shipping issues these tiles are great. They are strong and forgiving of less than desirable walls. Watch the videos and do exactly as they say and installation with be quick and smooth. I used these for my bathtub surround and being 68 doing it alone I was able to do it all myself. I did it in two days mostly because I was hesitant about doing it around the water lines. my plumbing hadn't been touched since at least the 50s and had longer bigger pipes than today. Cutting and drilling out the holes was never a problem. I will say though using a utility knife for anything other than trimming edges is difficult. Luckily I had a small table saw that worked great. It’s good stuff! Love the color and finish, and as mosaic tiles go, it’s a very easy install. Being porcelain, it’s very hard and durable, and perhaps best of all, you can use an orbital sander to remove thinset and grout without damaging the finish—huge time saver! Just one critical thing to know in advance: these are spaced at 4mm, and you’ll have to search hard to find 4mm spacers. 3/16 is too wide, 1/8 is too skinny. On the upside, if things start looking a wee bit out of alignment, you can use those 3/16 and 1/8 spacers (very selectively) to cheat a little, with no discernible impact to aesthetics.. Ryan. So far so good. We are slowly replacing all of the stainless hardware in our kitchen which can get quite pricey. This sink checked all of our boxes and the price was nice. It looks a million times better than the stainless drainboard sink it replaced and we like the deep bowl. As for how ours is installed, I have an unfair advantage because my husband installs solid surfaces for a living. So he customized this drop-in sink and made it an undermount sink like he did with our previous drop-in drainboard sink. Time will only tell if this sink can withstand constant abuse from daily use and retain its clean white color.
