Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. So glad I opted for a Monument grill cover rather than purchasing from a box store. Most people think they just need a grill, but then they realize they’re constantly running back inside to the kitchen for sides or sauces. This fixes that. The build quality is solid—you can feel it as soon as you lift the lid. My customers always mention the light-up knobs too; they look great at night, but it’s also just a really easy way to see if you left the gas on.
