This product is a smart home water security system that provides 24/7 protection by monitoring for water leaks—some as small as one drop of water per minute—and other vulnerabilities, no additional sensors are needed. Designed by plumbing and tech industry professionals, Flo Smart Water Monitor and Shutoff are installed on the main water supply line of the home. Through the Moen Plus App, you can see live water use, including water flow rates, pressure, and even temperature. If the Smart Water Shutoff detects an issue (e.g. high pressure, freezing water, or a small leak) it will alert you through the App, or other preferred notification methods, so you can assess the issue before it causes costly damage. If there is a catastrophic failure, like a burst pipe or someone leaves the water running, you will be alerted in the App allowing you to shut the water off remotely—no matter where you are. If the review were based solely on assembly I would have given this one star out of five. The directions are pretty worthless considering how they picture an entirely different tank set up. I did a lot of guesswork to figure out where to attach the different hoses and everything else. The directions don’t label anything. Most of the fan hardware is already in place and has to be removed and then replaced to attach the fan screens. The one with the larger hole goes on the front with the mist unit and the smaller hole lines up with the fan motor. The whole process takes a lot of logical guessing. The waterlines are also a puzzle since the directions don’t address them. The blue line is what drips back into the tank the clear delivers water from the tank to the mist unit. The lines inside the tank cover - one goes to the pump and the other connects to the clear line. Anyway I eventually figured it out, plugged in and tested it out- I haven’t mounted it yet. It works very well. It’s powerful and heavy duty misting fan. Manual oscillation by moving wall mount arm. Assuming the wall mounting presents no issues I am happy with the results.. Melanie. I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. So far I do like this it does make the water taste a lot better. Its not quite as cold as I would like I have a 32 oz water bottle and Im about halfway of filling it the water gets warm since its refilling the tank as it goes, but some ice cubes would fix that.
