The durable replacement pan is made with a flexible polypropylene plastic mixture which is odor resistant, easy to clean, and stronger than other replacement pans that are made of ABS plastic. Additionally, our replacement pans are injection molded during the manufacturing process making them more flexible/durable than competitors who vacuum seal their pans during the manufacturing process. The wheels were not allowed while traveling but were handy once the crate was disassembled to make it easier to move around. Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas. I purchased a bag of (Green)XL pottie pads nearby had to put 2 pads out because there weren’t wide enough or long enough. I was very disappointed that they claimed these were XL. They are wider longer I only have to put 1 pad out I inherited 2 adult pups that aren’t quite potty trained because of their parents working longshiftwork hours. I really like this litter box. It was easy to assemble and seems stable and sturdy and motor seems strong when the cycle runs. The size of the litter box is smaller than a regular box but is definitely large enough for a large adult cat. I actually appreciate the smaller size because the box has a smaller footprint and takes less litter to fill. The only thing I wonder about is how long the liner will last because it’s made of what seems like a canvas fabric (reminds me of the fabric of an outdoor pillow) and it seems like this might get smelly after a while.
