This is a beautiful crate. Perfect size for my 15 pound dog. It's obviously so much nicer than a traditional metal crate. I was initially concerned that the lock would be too weak to keep the door closed, but it's great! It's a very secure lock. The crate door slides up and under the drawer, which saves on space. I bought this not as a tent for a dog, but, as a cover to prevent damage to my portable generator, when using during bad weather. I haven't actually used it during a weather incident, as of yet. I did set it up and ran the generator inside of it, to make sure the generator's CO detector didn't trigger and shut it down. It passed that test perfectly, and, judging by how it looks, I'm pretty sure it'll work fine during rain or snow.
