I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. This thing is nearly perfect! We have three dogs that we kennel occasionally when we leave the house, and I was tired of looking at three wire kennels of different sizes spread throughout the house. I decided to splurge on this 95" furniture-style kennel console, and it's absolutely everything I wanted it to be! It's STURDY. The assembly instructions were easy to follow, and assembly wasn't nearly as daunting a task as I thought it was going to be. Ours did arrive with a pretty nasty scratch/scuff on one of the bottom boards (thanks to a pretty big gash in the box from shipping), but it's covered by a kennel pad/dog bed, so not visible and not worth fussing over.
