This thing is nearly perfect! We have three dogs that we kennel occasionally when we leave the house, and I was tired of looking at three wire kennels of different sizes spread throughout the house. I decided to splurge on this 95" furniture-style kennel console, and it's absolutely everything I wanted it to be! It's STURDY. The assembly instructions were easy to follow, and assembly wasn't nearly as daunting a task as I thought it was going to be. Ours did arrive with a pretty nasty scratch/scuff on one of the bottom boards (thanks to a pretty big gash in the box from shipping), but it's covered by a kennel pad/dog bed, so not visible and not worth fussing over. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. Adorable for the dog tub we installed in our laundry room. Things you should know: the tiles in the box seem random. We ordered 2 boxes. In all, we received varying quantities of each doggie face. Sometimes 2, 3, or 5 of any one particular face. You can match any two tiles side by side and it creates a face where the edges meet, but we didn't want to repeat the same center dog face side by side. It takes some effort since there are a different, random number of each face. We laid them out on the carpet and played with the layout, arranging and rearranging so we liked the design. Then we used blue painters tape on each tile and numbered them, starting with the bottom row, since that is what the tile installer would begin with. My husband made a great graphic illustration of the layout so there would be no mistakes. We used a white scallop tile for the sides of the tub, and a black and white mosaic for the floor. The house is still under construction so the plumbing is not finished - no hose and sprayer installed yet- and some of the grout was missing the day I took the pics.
