I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. I bought this bed as a Christmas present for my mums senior kitty who is always cold, we’ve noticed her huddling up to lamps and Christmas lights and anything that gives off the tiniest bit of heat so a heated bed seemed like a great idea and it was worth every penny! We have never seen such a blissed out cat (her sister uses it too, so TWO blissed out kitties!) She knew it was for her and hasn’t left it since we set it up, except to eat and crawls right back into it. It’s obvious she LOVES it and we couldn’t be happier, I swear, she’s even smiling! The quality is amazing and it’s WAY bigger than I expected but it’s perfect, her and her sister fit in it together or she loved being wrapped up with a blanket in there. I’m so tempted to buy another one for my cat now, I am extremely happy with it! We haven’t used the cooling setting much yet, the fan noise does make them give it a funny look the minute or two we’ve turned it on trying to get it to the heat setting but it’s quiet enough I’m sure they’ll get used to it and love it in the summer. We live in Az and I didn’t know a cooked bed was even a thing so I am totally stoked to try it when the time comes, I’m sure they’ll love it just as much as they do when it’s heated. I love this vacuum. It works great. The only thing is the cord will get stuck in the bottom of the vacuum if you’re not careful while using.
