The boxes arrived a bit beat up as usual, but the pieces inside were safe and well-protected. I absolutely love the style of this dog crate it has that vintage industrial look that makes it feel like a real piece of furniture instead of just a kennel. It was definitely a bit time-consuming to assemble, especially with the sliding doors, but it was totally worth it in the end. I really like it because there are times when I want my Frenchie to stay calm and in one spot, especially while I’m cleaning or passing the vacuum. It’s perfect for that and he seems very comfortable. To be honest, I think I would have liked a darker wood color better, but this one is fine for now and it still looks very elegant in the room. Shipped quickly and arrived well packaged. The instructions are easy enough, and it was easy to put together until I got to the backrest. Even with two people, it was a pain. This is the only reason I rated it a 4. It appears there is a piece of foam covering that is under the material across the back, and then it was torn so you can put in the screws. Unfortunately, you have to put them in blindly as you cannot see the holes to line up the screws. A couple of times, had to remove some material from the holes to get the screws in. The zipper on one side broke while unzipping it to get to the backrest screw holes and cannot be reattached (like you could with a jacket zipper). It doesn't affect the function, but for the price, it's just something that should have happened. After all was said and done, it's super cute, the material is really nice, true to color and the couch is sturdy. It could also serve as a toddler couch. My dogs took to it right away.. Elizabeth. That is approved! It was easy to install, just need to remember not to tighten all the screws until at the very end (otherwise you wont be able to get all holes to match), it also helped that I tightened the screws by lifting the bed sideways up, so it was a bit tilted when I put the last screw in and once that was halfway in, I straightened it all to levelled.
