My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. I was not sure whether it would work for my cats or not so it was good enough size and price for me to give it a try. I needed one with open bottom because my cats eat our grass. For that reason, I searched and searched until I found this one. the bottom slats are movable with this one. It works for us. It also looks pretty cute and leaving it on our front yard is not an eye sore. It is not hard to put together but you need to pay attention to put the right pieces in right places. It took me a few hours. It is light weight so it can be easily moved around by myself. My cats like to be in the cage for an hour or two. Appears to be relatively heavy-duty and well made. It is certainly long enough to serve as we expected for our old fat beagle to use to get up into my truck, on the couch and possibly onto the bed again. Rocky has arthritis in his hips and we do a lot of lifting of his aft end to get him up the back steps, into the truck and onto the couch. The ramp is long enough to make the grade favorable and not so steep he cannot negotiate most "climbs" as needed. The ramp is very compact when collapsed, yet quite strong when extended for use.
