This has been a great addition to our cats’ furniture collection! The smalleryounger cat loves to sleep on the flower on top, which is made of something like memory foam, but a bit denser. I imagine it is somewhat self-heating and also helps to hold onto the heat from the window. My largest cat loves the middle level basket. She will curl up in it for hours and has since I took it out of the box. Her sister is terrified of the entire thing and avoids even being near it. I have no idea why. I picked it because it had 3 levels, and they are always together, but it has not appealed to her yet. I purchased the Bridget Hall Tree in Dark Cherry and Im very happy with it overall. Assembly is definitely the biggest challenge, but it just takes patience. As long as you pay close attention to the instructions and take your time, its very doable. Everything arrived extremely well packaged, and all the pieces were in great condition. Once assembled, the hall tree feels sturdy and looks beautiful. The included baskets complement the dark cherry finish perfectly and really complete the look. One thing to keep in mind is that the finish seems like it could scratch fairly easily. If you plan to use the baskets often, Id recommend removing them carefully to avoid rubbing against the wood. Because of that, I think this piece is best suited as a decorative entryway organizer rather than something that will get heavy, rough daily use. Overall, its a beautiful piece of furniture, and Ive had a lot of fun decorating it for the seasons. It adds a warm, elegant touch to my entryway, and Im very pleased with my purchase.
