I purchased the Bridget Hall Tree in Dark Cherry and Im very happy with it overall. Assembly is definitely the biggest challenge, but it just takes patience. As long as you pay close attention to the instructions and take your time, its very doable. Everything arrived extremely well packaged, and all the pieces were in great condition. Once assembled, the hall tree feels sturdy and looks beautiful. The included baskets complement the dark cherry finish perfectly and really complete the look. One thing to keep in mind is that the finish seems like it could scratch fairly easily. If you plan to use the baskets often, Id recommend removing them carefully to avoid rubbing against the wood. Because of that, I think this piece is best suited as a decorative entryway organizer rather than something that will get heavy, rough daily use. Overall, its a beautiful piece of furniture, and Ive had a lot of fun decorating it for the seasons. It adds a warm, elegant touch to my entryway, and Im very pleased with my purchase. This is a great piece! It was a little bit of a challenge to put together (I mixed a few steps up). Between my husband and I we figured it out though. It has several options like a spinning foodwater dish (we didn’t install the food bowls because the baby would eat the dog food). But conceptually it’s nice to be able to crate and feed as needed. It also has three sides that open including an attractive sliding door and two ends that fully open. As you can see, the top serves as a changing station for us but could have multiple uses. I like this and I am small enough fit through the gate, but my elderly father has trouble with it and his caregiver has trouble fitting through it and opening and closing it. This is a very pretty alternative to the traditional metal dog crate. It arrived in perfect condition (no chipped corners or dings, that others mentioned) and my husband had it together in less than an hour. It does have a yellowish tinge to it(not as white as the photos suggest), but we were ok with it. Our 50lb hound/shepherd mix puppy has ample space to stand and stretch out. I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because, I think with a little time and boredom, she would easily be able to chew or dig her way out of this. We are using it only as a sleeping crate in our bedroom, so I am not worried about that. But I wouldn't put her in this and then leave the house.
