It’s a great little dish, perfect for my French Bulldog. She needed something a little raised to help her eat easily and this seems to be the perfect height for her. She’s not a very tall Frenchie. This bowl would be best for smaller breed dogs, especially since it only holds about 12cup of dry kibble. These are lovely large bowls, which I have placed on a table in my partially finished basement. I only put water in these bowls for my two larger breed cats, and these bowls hold their supplemental water which I change daily, mostly. Although I reside in the mountains, during this unusually humid and hot season, it is much cooler in my basement so leaving the cats food downstairs ensures that they will spend some time there when I am at work.
