It’s safe to say the level of detail in the instruction manual is one of the best we have ever seen! And the organization of the parts was *chef’s kiss*. We are very happy with our Backyard Discovery Beaumont 14x12 pergola! The only negative would be the time it took to arrive, which was about six weeks. Otherwise, it is very well made and looks beautiful. You need at least three people to put together. I love this pergola! I had been debating one for years and finally found one with all the features I wanted. We dont have any trees so theres no natural covering, and the backyard gets blasted with sun during the day. This pergola is perfect for manually adjusting the 4 different sections of louvers for the amount of sun wanted. We havent used the curtains or netting yet but I love having the option when needed. We paid for assembly which occurred over 3 days and 3 different crews. Caution- I dont recommend using the included anchors for anchoring to your base, unless your base is absolutely perfectly level. During the day, you can close the louvers to enjoy sun shade; In the evening you can also use the strips light while you relax in your favorite chair! If the weather changes and it starts to rain simply close the louver shut and continue to enjoy your outdoor living area with friends and family.
