The 12x20 pergola I ordered is close to 1000 pounds shipping in 7 boxes so the heaviest single box is about 150 lbs so two people are needed to move it around. The instructions recommended 4 people for the install. I had my brother to help but due to the weight I wanted 6 people (one at each post) to move the assembled product to minimize damage to the frame. High quality parts all around but because it’s all aluminum that is great for lower weight but it is still 1/2 ton of weight that needs to be moved around during an installation. Made from heavy-duty 400g/m² GSM lock-stitch knitted polyethylene fabric that significantly reduces ambient temperatures underneath. Very easy to clean, and blocks the sun while allowing air to circulate. Can reduce temperatures underneath the shade by up to 25%. 1-year limited warranty under normal usage and weather conditions.
