It’s safe to say the level of detail in the instruction manual is one of the best we have ever seen! And the organization of the parts was *chef’s kiss*. We put it together in just over 3 hours while also wrangling our young hyenas - I mean kids. We have built dressers and desks and tables and wayyy too many Hot Wheels tracks. They all prepared us for this experience. And this was far easier than we thought it would be. I’m very pleased with this purchase as was my final big purchase and project in my garden renovation. The build was fairly straightforward and took about 7 hours to complete with 2 teens and myself. The only issue we encountered was that several pre drilled holes for the top lattices were a bit off center. However we were able to correct. The delivery was on time and placed where I wanted it. Be sure to have at least 3 people when connecting the legs to the beams. The directions were pretty vague when starting the first louver. I was missing 1 tapered locking bolt and 1 pillar cover but Maria at customer service was excellent in helping me get the missing parts. Love this canopy so much. I was able to put it together fairly easily but it does require some extra focus when assembling the sliding top shade. As far as daily use, the side shades and retracting top one are amazing. We’ve had some pretty severe storms and as long as the top shade is not open, it’s held up well. I would highly recommend..
