The good: We bought the 14x10 and it is heavy duty. I haven't fixed it to my deck yet, but I doubt that would even be necessary because it's heavy and sturdy. It gets 4 stars because I'm confident it will serve its purpose for a long time. The bad: I can't give it 5 stars because assembly was difficult, even with 2 people in their 30s. It took us a total of around 10-12 hours over a few days. When assembling the large/heavy support beams, you will probably need to have some kind of supporting table or shelf to lean them on (or have a person hold a large piece while someone affixes it to another) to prevent bending. You'll also need at least one step ladder and a Phillips head screwdriver, which the description fails to mention and isn't included. Great value for the price. I installed it on my Sorara Mirador Pergola, and it worked well. I’d need is raising the underside height from 89” to 94”. Some of the louvers arrived with minor factory paint scratches. I reached out to Mirador for touch-up paint, but they don’t offer any. The shipment packaging is extremely well done and even though there was damage to the boxes, the product was sufficiently protected had no damage due to shipping. The 12x20 pergola I ordered is close to 1000 pounds shipping in 7 boxes so the heaviest single box is about 150 lbs so two people are needed to move it around. The instructions recommended 4 people for the install. I had my brother to help but due to the weight I wanted 6 people (one at each post) to move the assembled product to minimize damage to the frame. High quality parts all around but because it’s all aluminum that is great for lower weight but it is still 1/2 ton of weight that needs to be moved around during an installation.
