I waited for the Memorial Day Sale and got it at a great price! Shipping was fast. It said three boxes but box two was inside box one. I was able to lay out all of the pieces and everything was labeled very clearly. I worked on one step each night and with the exception of the steps that required two people I was ably to assemble this alone in a week. The only slow part was the roof panels have a plastic on BOTH sides that has to be removed. This took a little over four hours but it came of clean and easy (the metal is sharp). I love this pergola! I had been debating one for years and finally found one with all the features I wanted. We dont have any trees so theres no natural covering, and the backyard gets blasted with sun during the day. This pergola is perfect for manually adjusting the 4 different sections of louvers for the amount of sun wanted. We havent used the curtains or netting yet but I love having the option when needed. We paid for assembly which occurred over 3 days and 3 different crews. Caution- I dont recommend using the included anchors for anchoring to your base, unless your base is absolutely perfectly level. Our base is brick pavers so those anchors didnt work. They had to use tapcons (concrete screws). The pergola has been a perfect addition to our backyard!. Diane. Sterling Heights, MI.
