Ideal Growing Conditions: Here is a quick list of things that can help them grow and thrive in your aquarium: 1) Use good filtration to keep the water clean and aerated. 2) Keep water temperature between 70 – 80 degrees Fahrenheit. 3) Maintain a PH range of 4.0 – 8.0. 4) Use a high-quality plant grow light. 5) Additional Carbon Dioxide (CO2) supply will assist in growth. Like all aquarium plants, these will thrive depending on water quality and environment factors. Tree Base Aqua-Flora: In addition to its aesthetics, the 2 openings in the Tree Base serve as hideaways and swim-throughs for small fish. This allows them to swim in and around the Aqua-Flora, which helps reduce their boredom and stress.

Each fish tank is made from ultra-clear plastic, and replicates nature’s metabolic cycle by providing a healthy and symbiotic environment for fish and plants: as fish excrete waste in the tank, the plant atop absorbs this waste as nourishment, which in turn cleans the tank’s water. For those more interested in growing plants hydroponically, our tanks can also be used strictly as a planter, allowing you to add your own nutrients. Suggested Fish: While Bettas are the most popular fish for our Aqua-Ponic Tank, they can also house Bloodfin Tetras, White Cloud Minnows, Danios, and Guppies (1 – 3 fish). For Bettas, please decrease the water level an inch, giving them enough space to breathe from the water’s surface. Suggested Plants: Most indoor house plants and kitchen herbs are suitable for planting atop. This includes Peace Lily, Chinese Evergreen, Lucky Bamboo, English Ivy, Mint, Watercress, Chives, or any leafy Lettuce. We recommend using established plants instead of starting from seed. If it can be grown in an indoor hydroponic garden, it can grow atop our tanks! Please research desired plant’s toxicity and nutritional requirements before using, since fish may nibble on the roots. Please note that the plant is not a source of food for fish. Any fish food can be used but avoid overfeeding as this can cloud water, and harm both fish and the plant. This thermometer is based on a thermoscope invented by Galileo Galilei in the early 1600`s. It`s made from a clear glass 23.5 inch (60 cm) high, 2.25 inch (6 cm) diameter liquid filled, sealed glass tube with a 3.5 inch (9 cm) diameter base, and 11 colored liquid filled floating glass bubbles. A metal tag engraved with varying degrees is attached to each bubble acting as counterweights for temperature readings as the bubbles rise and float with the changing temperatures. The bubble floating in the gap between those at the top and bottom indicates the ambient temperature. It makes a wonderful gift for history buffs, or those that like really cool things, and a fun conversational piece for your own home or office!

A great item for the Pirate of the Caribbean movie fans! This is a small model of the Black Pearl; originally Wicked Wench is Captain Jack Sparrow’s pirate ship. In the three movies (Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Mans Chest, and At Worlds End) she either overtakes or flees all other ships, including the Interceptor (regarded as the fastest ship in the Caribbean) and the Flying Dutchman (which is actually faster against the wind). Her speed is derived from a large amount of sails she carries. She is noted in At Worlds End as being "The only ship as what (which) can outrun the Flying Dutchman.” Our Black Pearl model features coated black paint, plank on frame, cannons, bowsprit, masts, rigging, and lines painstakingly knotted and fastened by hand. On the deck, there are metal stationed cannons, wooden cabin, wooden barrels, and many other spectacular ornaments. This model comes standard with a solid wood base and brass nameplate.
