The vent’s manufacturing material is polymer resin with a UV additive to prevent premature fading caused by sunlight. It would be best to prep the vent before painting it; use plastic paint to effectively paint the plastic vent. Please be sure to check local building codes before installation.

However, the hooks get in the way on the Classic 1 and do not allow you to put the heat deflectors on the lowest tier of the divide and conquer.
