This piece of furniture is a collectors dream. It is the sturdiest piece and by far the nicest display case that we have ever owned. It was not the easiest to put together and it will take 2 people but as long as you follow directions and take it slow, you will be ok. It is a surface-mounted latch that is designed for use on 1 in. thick swing-in partition doors, and it comes complete with an "occupied" indicator and a matching stainless steel keeper. The exterior indicator has a dial-type internal mechanism that announces a locked door (or an occupied stall) with red color when the lock is engaged. The plastic inserts included with these tee handles fit various spline diameters of the following sizes: 9/32 inch, 5/16 inch, 3/8 inch, 11/32 inch and 3/8 inch special. Installation Tip: Once the correct insert has been mounted onto the spline, be sure to align the set screw of the tee handle to the round opening on the side of the plastic insert to allow the set screw to lock onto the metal spline, and not into the plastic insert.
