The recessed gas plug is a convenient outlet for natural gas or propane that can be hooked up directly to your house or RV gas system. This outlet is designed to be recessed into the wall with a fire-rated abs rough-in box, covered with a brushed finished stainless steel door that protrudes no more than 1/2" out from the finished surface. The gas plug (TM) door can be closed while the appliance remains hooked up. I had the R10000-UNBXHF valve body (in conjuction with the T17038-SS Lahara 17 series valve trim) installed 16 months ago and the shower head is now dripping when the valve is turned fully in the off position.
