I love this set! This is so solid and heavy that I'm sure it would hold a lot of weight like a heavy, terry winter bathrobe or nice thick wet bath towel. I actually use it for my hand towel and face cloth next to my sink. My towels have loops so I hang it that way but it works just as well to hang the towel in the hook just like a towel bar.
