The good: We bought the 14x10 and it is heavy duty. I haven't fixed it to my deck yet, but I doubt that would even be necessary because it's heavy and sturdy. It gets 4 stars because I'm confident it will serve its purpose for a long time. The bad: I can't give it 5 stars because assembly was difficult, even with 2 people in their 30s. It took us a total of around 10-12 hours over a few days. When assembling the large/heavy support beams, you will probably need to have some kind of supporting table or shelf to lean them on (or have a person hold a large piece while someone affixes it to another) to prevent bending. You'll also need at least one step ladder and a Phillips head screwdriver, which the description fails to mention and isn't included. This gazebo came well packaged. The instructions were spot on and we had it done in 14 hours. It is very sturdy and well thought out. I suggest that you seal the wood before putting it together as others have said. We mounted this to a pre- existing concrete patio. The mounting bolts were a little small so we changed out the way we mounted it to the slab. This thing is not moving! I had one missing part and I called them on a Sunday and a holiday weekend at that and they answered. I gave them the serial number and the part number and the gal said it will arrive in 2-5 days. Very nice carport. We use it in our yard next to our pool for shade. Love the grey canopy cover. It was easy to put together. It came with anchors to hold the canopy down.
