I like this rug because it’s modern yet has traditional quality. It is wool with bamboo silk so ithe design is raised 2 dimensional & shiny. The background is woven nicely with no shedding and is a putty/ taupe color & the sculpted portion is more beige. I have grandkids so I needed a color that is light yet forgiving. We love this rug. We placed it in our dining room two years ago in a very high traffic area and it has held up very well. It’s soft, easy to spot clean as needed, but not too thick.
