Bought this unit as a (very comparable) replacement for a Panasonic NN-T994SF that was purchased in January of 2005. Yes, after 21 yrs of constant use, that old unit finally gave out. Kudos to Panasonic on the quality and longevity of the unit that we replaced!! As to the new unit, we are very pleased. Well-built and cooks well. A big plus for us is that the unit is just under 24" wide (most other brands are slightly wider). Since we have a 24" wide alcove the oven sits in, perfect. I would tend to agree with the other reviewer who commented on the interior light being somewhat dim - maybe a 2nd light on the other side of the oven might have been nice. Super quiet. I only wish I’d checked the wiring diagram. To work the nightlight, fan, and regular light all separately you’re gonna need 3 switches in your bathroom. We only had two and we installed extra lights above the shower so we went with one switch to work the shower lights and one that works both the fan and light together.
