This is a cute item, for sure, but the price is too high for the level of quality. Silo top was misshapen and would not attach without adjustments, and the holes in the legs were not large enough to allow the bolts to pass through for assembly. I ended up needing to drill larger holes on each leg or there would have been no way to actually attach them. My 12 year old son and I had no problem assembling this in about an hour. I the wood is not as thick/sturdy as I had hoped. I think it will be excellent for our first 4 chickens. We will have it inside. Covered run with a water proof cover so hopefully it will last a little while. The bottom metal tray seems fragile. I hope it can withstand the weight of 4 chickens. Great starter coop! We ended up stapling chicken wire around the entire outside for extra protection and also added a second latch to the bottom of the door. Impressed with the amount of roosting space plus ground space. I plan on redoing the latches on the roosting boxes as they aren’t the strongest and predators “could” get in or my chickens could get out. We did have missing pieces to 4 of the latches and had to go buy some. This review is for the automatic chicken feeder & waterer set made by Vevor. This set is on the larger size with the feeder's capacity at 40 pounds and the waterer holds 5 gallons. The set is constructed of a good quality thick plastic with handles and the feeder has round caps that can be taken off in the mornings and replaced at night to keep predators from eating the food. I absolutely love this set with the exception that you have to keep raising the feeder/waterer with the growth of your chickens or they will continue to scratch and waste the food. Otherwise, I have no complaints - just wish they came with a stand. As you can tell from the pictures our chickens are starting to scratch out the food instead of just eating it indicating that it's time we raised them both again. Raising them takes care of it.
