My 12 year old son and I had no problem assembling this in about an hour. I the wood is not as thick/sturdy as I had hoped. I think it will be excellent for our first 4 chickens. We just finished putting our coop together. All items were in the box and labeled. It was a big task putting it together but instructions were easy to follow. The coop is really nice but light weight. Need to stake into the ground. Our chickens are too young to put in there but are excited for that day. Great starter coop! We ended up stapling chicken wire around the entire outside for extra protection and also added a second latch to the bottom of the door. I plan on redoing the latches on the roosting boxes as they aren’t the strongest and predators “could” get in or my chickens could get out. We did have missing pieces to 4 of the latches and had to go buy some. Easy assembly however it does take about 6 hours to but together. There were a few undrilled boards. Also the cover doesn't stay on with windy days with it being Velcro. This is a cute item, for sure, but the price is too high for the level of quality. Silo top was misshapen and would not attach without adjustments, and the holes in the legs were not large enough to allow the bolts to pass through for assembly. I ended up needing to drill larger holes on each leg or there would have been no way to actually attach them. I was intimidated by 3 boxes of pieces and parts but I put it together myself in a couple hours. Love it!
