My 12 year old son and I had no problem assembling this in about an hour. I the wood is not as thick/sturdy as I had hoped. I think it will be excellent for our first 4 chickens. We just finished putting our coop together. All items were in the box and labeled. It was a big task putting it together but instructions were easy to follow. The coop is really nice but light weight. Need to stake into the ground. Our chickens are too young to put in there but are excited for that day. When I open my coop today it was damaged I paid too much money for this and cannot buy another one I should get some of my money back but if it wasnt for all the damage parts in the missing screws it would be a good coop and I have to use this coop because I have to put my chickens in there. I love this coop! It’s cute and perfect for what I need it for. Exactly what I wanted. Fair price for what it is. I did have a problem with a couple of things when assembling. First the bar going across the middle base was the opposite direction than shown in the instructions. I made it work, hopefully the floor holds up. second the hardware for the last part of the roof were pre installed backwards and up too high. Pictures attached in order. We are very happy with this chicken coop! We did opt to set it up on cinder blocks. It gives the chickens additional room to roam. We added the pen that came with the coop onto the side of a large kennel pen that we also purchased from Wayfair.. Rita. WA. Sun Sep 14 2025

This chicken coop is constructed with solid fir wood which printed animal-friendly coating. The wire is made of heavy-duty galvanized (wire openings are only 1/2"x 1/2") to prevent predators. 75.7" (L) x 62.5"(W) x59.1"(H) Roomy space provide a great living condition for 6 - 10 chickens, ducks. The whole roof is completely covered with asphalt to keep your poultry shaded from the sun and protected from the rain. Vents allow airflow to reduce moisture to keep your chicken house dry & avoid sickness. With a sliding door and handle, it is possible to close the sleeping area entrance from outside the coop.

Looks just like photo. Was well packaged and not damaged via shipping. However, there were a few split areas in the wood I had to glue. The instructions were not good at all! It said it'd only take an hour to put together but it took my son and I six hours, over two days, to get this together. This coop is super cute!!! However it seems to be pretty low quality. The wood is very soft and several of my pieces arrived already split. I would never put 8-10 full size chickens in this, maybe 8-10 bantam size. I’m thinking it will only last a year or two. I just got it to put my baby chicks in so it will work for now.. Anonymous.
