Added this to the side of my house. I added pressurized wood to level bottom since my pad is sloped. Also added wood around the sides and top because the brickwork on the bottom prevents greenhouse from being flush against siding. I recently had siding put on my home. My contractor sort of refused to put my old awnings back on the house - rightfully so - would have been awful! So, I started searching for suitable choices. Many were negated because they wouldn't have mounted to the siding correctly. Then I found this (and a larger one for my front door but got that one elsewhere as Wayfair didn't have that size) and realized that a mounting kit could be purchased for vinyl siding! Hooray! It's gorgeous - so minimalistic and really matches the house. It hasn't rained yet so I don't know how well it will shield but at least it looks pretty. These were much larger in real life than I was expecting but seemed the right size once installed. They came with decent instructions but pictures only so takes a little to figure out. They came with rubber stripes to put between pieces but they dont make a tight seal so I bought 12 backer strips to add between the frame and plexiglass for a tight seal. It's been years since we installed this and it still looks good. The "glass" has held up, even through some tough weather this year. Great kit with quality parts and wonderful customer service. Make sure you clearly sort and label everything before you begin. Also have your foundation ready as it takes longer than you think. You should go to the Palram website and download the instruction manual before your order arrives and get prepared. For us, there was no way we could have put this kit up in half a day and we're still chuckling about that! We were stumped a couple of times, but customer service support from Palram easily helped us each time. It came out perfectly and I would easily give it five stars, but there are are a few things I would do differently on a Greenhouse of this quality and also . . . the kit instructions . . . a few extra words would have helped greatly instead of 99% photo instructions. Finished project was beautiful. Not NOT Company’s fault but the shipping people really smashed up the boxes and caused little nicks in the plastic glass. Still turned out nice. We added a paver floor by adding sand under the pavers and finishing with paver sand for the top. We wet paver sand let dry and swept off excess. Love my new greenhouse! Two engineer friends & I anchored & fully assembled in 7 hours on a concrete pad prepared earlier. Assembly using picture diagrams are sketchy in places, but common sense comes in handy! "Tension/support" cabling is aggravatingly tricky without popping out roof panels, but got got it done as designed, & it's a solid structure. Amazing shed. Easy to put together with great directions. Just make sure to follow them EXACTLY. Sometimes they tell you to put in a screw or bolt, but not tighten it. They MEAN it. Purchased the Nature Series Greenhouse Anchor Kit (By Palram) to use with my Palram Hybrid Greenhouse (6X10).....Live in an area that can have severe wind come up quickly.....We have very sandy soil and we thought the ground screws might not hold well.
