this set was actually much nicer than expected. Had purchased to put on our front porch and not really be used (more for visual than function) but they are comfortable and really nice in person. I ended up moving something else out on the porch and added these to the deck so that we can enjoy them. Easy to put together. My thirteen year old son did everything start to finish. They do swivel and rock slightly. Cushions are fairly thick which was a nice surprise. I figured I'd have to have them replaced as other sets' cushions have been lackluster at best. I had a lovehate relationship with these chairs immediately. I absolutely love the cane back, and I love the black frame, because it offers beautiful contrast. But the white linen was very cheap, very thin, wrinkled almost immediately, and I knew it would be worn out in a month. The matching lumbar pillow was very flimsy and offered absolutely no support, support that would be important in such a deep chair. But I couldnt get over the potential of these chairs. At the behest of a friend, I decided to look into the option of reupholstering the chairs. I thought it would be cost prohibitive. It certainly wasnt cheap, but, all in, they ended up costing about what a custom chair would cost. This way I got what I wanted. I love the fabric that I picked, and I still love the way it looks with the black frame and the Beautiful cane.
