Pretty nice and sturdy. It comes in 7 boxes + box with screens and curtains if that’s the model purchased. I wish the assembly instructions were in box one and that the instructions told you where the hardware was, The instructions and hardware are in box 5. Make sure all parts are not damaged before starting assembly especially the key structure parts. Some of my louvers were dented but the didn’t effect my assembly. They were replaced, but it took a week to get the replacements. Wayfair and manufacturer were responsive and easy to deal with but it took time to get the replacement parts. First off came very well packaged and all parts in boxes were secured with foam and each one individually wrapped. The quality is good and looks just like the pictures. I think it took just as long to take the pieces out of the boxes and unwrap them and break all the packing down than it did to build the pergola. It looks great from every angle and it has significantly increased our outdoor living time by providing much needed shade. We're already planning to spend every possible minute out here as the weather warms up. Assembly was surprisingly straightforward, thanks to instructions that were easy to follow. While the process is manageable, it is a project; it took a full weekend to complete. My husband handled most of the assembly, though he definitely needed an extra set of hands to safely erect the support pillars and main frame. Make sure your electric drill is fully charged and ready to go, as there are quite a few screws involved in securing the slats. Once it's up, though, the payoff is immediate. This pergola offers a perfect reprieve from the sun throughout the day, featuring a smooth louvered system that is incredibly easy to operate. Each side opens and closes with one fluid motion, giving us precise control over exactly how much sunlight we let in. The wood grain coating on the aluminum frame adds an elegant and timeless touch. We really appreciate that the four outer pillars each have a drainage hole, thanks to the advanced drainage system that efficiently collects rainwater by channeling it down through 4 pillars. This is a great pergola! I love that it provides an area of shade on my back porch without blocking the sunlight coming into my house completely. The roof itself is light filtering, which is great because it’s not completely blacked out. I love the curtains and mash liner so that I can enclose it if I need to or keep it open. The installation itself was not accurate according to the instruction pamphlet. It only needed two people, but took between six and eight hours to assemble. Love the pergola. Nice and sturdy. Looks great on my large patio. The only issue we have is it came with lights but no way to hang them, no clips and no instructions. I will be contacting Wayfair to get more information. Other than that, the delivery was speedy and instructions were clear. All the pieces had letter stickers. Took 2 people about 6 hours. Love it!!
