While I love the design and quality, like others I was disappointed that the shams that come with the king comforter are not king shams.. they are standard. So I did find a solution. We really love the quilt and it goes very well with our cabin decor. However, the shams are stitched in such a way that it makes it difficult to get pillows into the shams. You can see in the picture the white pens. They are at the point where there is a stitch in from the sides. The stitch should be closer to the edge, and there is enough material for it to be closer to the edge. This would provide more room for inserting a pillow into the sham.
