I cut to fit gray rubber cover base (see photos) from HD to fit under base plates for added stability, to prevent contact from water and chlorine, prevent water from intruding into anchor holes, and for leveling posts. It takes at leaat 3 to assemble and attach to existing concrete patio. Canopy has tendency to roll back if windy. Magnet intended to stop this does not work. That said, I love it and love sitting outside. Just need a nice rug now!. Marcie Wall. Georgia. Wed Apr 29 2026
