Very pleased with the awning. Fits the space just right. Assembly was not overly difficult but the instructions could have been a bit more detailed. I looked at several videos related to assembly of the out sunning awnings and even though they were not for this exact awning it helped immensely. I was able to do the complete assembly by myself but needed help to lift the awning into place on the brackets. I mounted the brackets in the rim joist between the first and second floors... as such I needed to purchase some lag screws as the anchors provided with the awning were suited more to mounting on brick or concrete. I cut to fit gray rubber cover base (see photos) from HD to fit under base plates for added stability, to prevent contact from water and chlorine, prevent water from intruding into anchor holes, and for leveling posts. Ventilation was a little bit limited, (the reason I rated it 45 stars) however this was really only an issue during the day. Zippers and material are great quality! It does the job. Has a nice aesthetic. Im in South FL cold showers are sometimes needed. The instructions are lacking. The dont say what size or depth to drill holes for the anchors. Also, they could have made all connections 34 inch. This would have mitigated needed for adaptersreducers, could have used a washing machine supply line instead of garden hose.
